The Star Rods Plasma II Stand-Up Conventional Rod combines lightweight construction, exceptional sensitivity, and powerful lifting strength for demanding offshore saltwater fishing. Built with high-modulus graphite and Star Rods' Duratech bonding technology, the Plasma II series delivers the durability and backbone needed to handle hard-fighting gamefish without unnecessary weight.

Each rod in the Plasma II series features a purpose-built blend of materials to balance power, sensitivity, and weight for its intended fishing application. A reinforcing Duratech graphite butt weave provides additional strength where anglers need it most, while the lightweight blank construction helps reduce fatigue during long days on the water.

Premium Fuji tangle-free K-guides with smooth, durable SiC rings promote efficient line flow, while a Fuji graphite reel seat provides a secure connection for conventional reels. An extended EVA foregrip offers comfort and leverage during demanding battles, and the carbon PowerButt with gimbal provides additional support when fighting powerful offshore fish.
